Are Nappytalia products suitable for curly and Afro hair?
Yes. Nappytalia products are specifically formulated for curly, coily, Afro and textured hair, with a strong focus on hydration, moisture retention and healthy natural hair.

Are Nappytalia products suitable for mixed-texture hair?
Yes. Our products can be used on mixed-texture hair. Since different textures can have different needs, the ideal routine depends on your individual hair.

Can Nappytalia products be used on relaxed hair?
Yes. Selected Nappytalia products can also be used on relaxed hair, particularly when the hair needs hydration, conditioning and moisture.

Do Nappytalia products contain sulfates, parabens or silicones?
Our products are formulated without sulfates, parabens and silicones, with the exception of our Clarifying Black Soap Shampoo.

Can I use Nappytalia products on children’s hair?
Yes. Many of our customers use Nappytalia products on their children’s curly, Afro and mixed-texture hair. For particularly sensitive skin or scalp, we recommend performing a patch test before use.

Are Nappytalia products vegan?
Our products are formulated using carefully selected ingredients, including ingredients of natural origin. Please refer to the individual product information for specific ingredient details.

How to Use Our Products

Which product do you recommend for very dry hair?
Our Leave-In Conditioner is one of our bestsellers and is designed to provide everyday moisture without unnecessarily weighing the hair down.

For hair requiring more intensive conditioning, we recommend incorporating one of our hair masks into the routine.

How often should I use the Leave-In Conditioner?
It can be used whenever your hair needs additional moisture. How often you need it will depend on your texture, porosity, hairstyle and current hair condition.

Can I use the Co-Wash instead of shampoo?
Yes, particularly for gentle cleansing between shampoo washes. However, a Co-Wash does not completely replace the need for deeper cleansing when there is significant buildup on the hair or scalp.

What is the difference between Co-Wash and Shampoo?
Shampoo provides a deeper cleanse, while Co-Wash offers gentler cleansing while helping the hair retain moisture.

How can I define my curls?
For curl definition, we generally recommend applying our Leave-In Conditioner first, followed by our styling gel. The exact technique and amount of product will depend on your texture, density and desired result.

How do I know which Nappytalia products are right for my hair?
Your curl pattern is only one factor. Porosity, density, strand thickness, current condition, previous chemical treatments and how your hair retains moisture can all affect the products and routine that work best for you.

Orders & Delivery

Do you deliver across Ghana?
Yes. We deliver within Accra and across Ghana. Delivery costs are paid by the customer and depend on the destination.

Do you ship outside Ghana?
Yes. We can ship Nappytalia products from Ghana internationally, including to the United States. International shipping costs are paid by the customer.

Can I order Nappytalia products from Europe?
Yes. Customers in Europe can order directly from our European website.

If you choose to order directly from the Ghana website, international shipping costs will be charged to the customer. Customs duties, import taxes or other charges may also apply depending on the destination country and are the customer’s responsibility.

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery costs depend on the destination and are paid by the customer. International shipping is quoted according to the destination and parcel.

How long does delivery take?
Delivery times depend on the destination. Once your order has been prepared, we can provide more information regarding the expected delivery timeframe.

What services do you offer?
Our services include curly and Afro hair treatments, washing and conditioning, curl definition, finger coils, twists, braids, cornrows, loc services, curly cuts and other natural hair services.

Services available may vary, so we recommend contacting us before booking if you’re unsure which option is right for you.

Do you offer Curly Cuts?
Yes. Curly cutting is one of our specialist services. We offer services including our Dry Curly Cut, depending on your hair and the result you want to achieve.

Do you work with children’s hair?
Yes. We work with children with curly, Afro and mixed-texture hair and offer selected treatments and hairstyles suitable for children.

Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, when possible.

Walk-in availability depends on the appointments already scheduled, the service you would like to receive and whether we have the necessary products, hair or other materials available for that service.

We therefore recommend contacting us before coming to the salon.

Appointments & Booking

How can I book an appointment?
You can contact Nappytalia Salon via WhatsApp to request an appointment.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A GHS 200 deposit is required to confirm your appointment.

Your appointment is not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.

What happens if I don’t pay the deposit?
Without the GHS 200 deposit, we cannot guarantee that the requested appointment slot will remain available.

We reserve the right to offer the time slot to another client until your deposit has been received.

What happens if I am late?
We allow a 15-minute grace period.

After 15 minutes, your appointment may need to be shortened, rescheduled or cancelled depending on the service booked, the time remaining and the appointments scheduled after yours.

Can I show you an inspiration photo?
Absolutely. Inspiration photos are encouraged because they help us understand the result you would like to achieve.

However, the final result depends on your own hair, including its texture, length, density, condition and previous treatments. We will advise you if adjustments are necessary.

Can you help me choose the right service on WhatsApp?
Yes. If you’re unsure what to book, you can contact us on WhatsApp and we can help you identify the most appropriate service.

To assist you properly, please send:

• An inspiration photo showing the hairstyle or result you would like

We may ask for additional information depending on your hair and the service requested.

Why do you need photos of my hair?
Hair texture alone doesn’t tell us everything we need to know. Seeing your current hair helps us assess its approximate length, density, condition and texture before recommending a service.

Can you recommend a hairstyle without seeing my hair?
We prefer to see your current hair first. A style that works on one person may need to be adapted for another depending on length, density, texture and hair condition.

Can I just send an inspiration photo and book the same hairstyle?
The inspiration photo shows us the result you’re looking for, but it doesn’t guarantee that the exact same result can be reproduced on every head of hair.

We will advise you on what can realistically be achieved with your hair.

Where are Nappytalia products made?
Nappytalia products are made in Ghana, using our own formulations developed specifically with the needs of curly, Afro and textured hair in mind.

Who founded Nappytalia?
Nappytalia was founded by Evelyne Sarah Afaawua, with the goal of creating specialised education, products and professional services for curly and Afro hair.

How long has Nappytalia existed?
The Nappytalia community began in Italy in 2014, growing from natural hair education into the salon and haircare brand it is today.

Does Nappytalia only operate in Ghana?
No. Nappytalia has roots in both Italy and Ghana. Today, our Ghana business combines our locally made haircare products with our specialised Curly & Afro Natural Hair Salon in Accra.
